Tennis C, in the Second Division is forging a healthy lead at the top. Their latest success was an 8-2 victory over Cody X. Mirko danso secured a full house for Tennis with team-mates Shaun Newbold and Colin Baggott each bagging braces both losing to Cody’s Kin Chan. Bentley B eased past Crawley Ridge A, 6-4. All players won and lost with doubles from Bentley’s Robin Street and paul Farrant matched by Crawley Ridge’s Phil Garrett. Cody A eased past Braybrooke A by the same score, 6-4. All the Cody players, Dave Stenning, Duncan Sibbick and Paul Mission won twice as did Braybrooke’s Mark Armstrong. Ash C moved up to third with an emphatic 9-1 success over Tennis D. Nigel Tustin and Frank Winnard were both unbeaten with Amy Parkes supporting with a duo.

Tennis F has a firm grip on the Third Division after they beat Ash E 7-3. Ash had just two players but one of them, Terry French, was unbeaten. Crawley Ridge picked up an emphatic 8-2 win over Tennis H. Both Yuriy Schulzhenko and Eric Wong secured full houses for Crawley Ridge. Frimley E and Cody B shared the points with two-man Frimley grateful for a maximum from Ted Cornell.

No surprises in the First Division. Central B had an emphatic win, 9-1, over Frimley B. Andy Appleby and Martin Townshend were unbeaten whilst Ramesh Bhalla bagged a brace.  Tennis A beat two person Fleet A 8-2 with both Paul Myers and Michael Kwan unbeaten. Tennis B eased past Ash A 6-4 with Eliot Tilley unbeaten for Tennis. Dave Halfpenny and Dave Gilham each won twice for Ash.

In the Fourth Division Crawley Ridge D maintained their lead at the top of the table with a whitewash of Ash F. Eric Wong, Yek Wan and David Marchant grabbed the points. Cody C and Tennis J shared the points with Spike Hagan undefeated for Cody. John Asprey supported with a duo whilst Tennis’ Ian Brown also won twice. Braybrooke B beat Cody D 9-1 with both Alan Burkey and Kenny Duarte winning all three and Sandra Jackson twice successful.
