Tennis G, in the Third Division, chalked up their third victory of the season when they eased past Crawley Ridge C, 6-4. Kim Phillips was unbeaten for Tennis with John Sheehy supporting with a duo. Yuriy Schulzhenko won twice for Crawley Ridge. Tennis F beat Frimley D 7-3 with Peter Killick chalking up a maximum and Andy Barnard bagging a brace as did Ramesh Vasudevamurthy for Frimley. Cody B narrowly beat Crawley Ridge B 6-4. John Harvey led the way with a triple whilst Jock Docherty supported with a pair. This was matched by Crawley Ridge’s Corin Moore.
Tennis J, in the Fourth Division, is sweeping all before them with the latest victory, 8-2, against their K team. Ian Brown and Andre Cherciu were both unbeaten for the J team. Cody C and Frimley F shared the points with Frimley’s Charles Rhodes unbeaten. John Asprey and Dave Hewitt each won twice for Cody. Ash F beat two man Cody D 6-4 with Graham Thomas undefeated for Ash. Norrie Short bagged a brace for Cody. Braybrooke B showed they will be in the shake up at the end of the season with an emphatic 8-2 success over Fleet C. Alan Burkey recorded a trio and team mates Sandra Jackson and Kenny Duarte supported with duos with both losing to Fleet’s James Maxwell.
Central B won for the third time this season when they cruised past Fleet A 8-2. Martin Townshend and Scott Ayers were both unbeaten for Central. Central A beat Tennis B 9-1 with Phil Snelson and Julie Lawrence each recording full houses and Paul Baker winning twice. Bentley A whitewashed Ash B thanks to the efforts of Graham Diplock, Crispian Knight and Andrew Bawden. Ash B beat Frimley B 8-2 with Dave Phelps leading with a maximum. Dave Gilham and Dave Halfpenny both won a couple but both lost to Frimley’s Clive Welsman.
In the Second Division Bentley B maintained their winning start to the season with a 7-3 victory over Tennis D. Robin Street notched up a maximum whilst Paul Farrant supported with a pair. Peter Bone won a couple for Tennis. Frimley C continued their winning ways with a narrow, 6-4, success over Tennis E. Vasco Correira led the way with a full house whilst Charles Burton won a couple for Tennis. Ash D are also unbeaten after a 7-3 success over Cody X. Andy Clegg and Paul Creamer were both unbeaten for Ash. Cody A eased past Crawley Ridge A 6-4 with Duncan Sibbick chalking up a maximum for Cody and team mate Dave Stenning winning a couple as did Crawley Ridge’s Phil Garrett. Braybrooke A beat Tennis C 7-3. Mark Armstrong secured a maximum for Braybrooke with colleague Tony Gabriel contributing a pair. Mirko Danso won twice for Tennis.
