Frimley C, in the Second Division, has had an excellent start to the season with two wins. Initially against Crawley Ridge A 8-2 with Vasco Correira undefeated and team mates Gary Nicholson and Hilary greig each winning twice with both succumbing to Crawley Ridge’s Dave Skellern. Then they beat Cody A 7-3 with Anthony Connelly chalking up a maximum and Greig chipping in with a couple. Paul Mission won a couple for Cody. Cody X whitewashed Braybrooke A with Peter Anthony, Kin Chan and Phil Russell showing they will be strong contenders this season. Crawley Ridge A bounced back from the first week defeat to narrowly overcome Ash C 6-4. Phil Garrett was unbeaten for Crawley Ridge whilst Nigel Tustin and Frank Winnard each won twice. Ash D maintained their winning start despite only having two players against Tennis D. Andy Cleeg secured a full house whilst Paul Creamer won a couple. Bentley B is another team who have won twice. Their latest success was 8-2 against Tennis E. Robin Street and Paul Farrant both won all three.

In the Third Division Frimley D and Fleet B shared the points with Brian Greenberg winning all three for Frimley and Rob Brook and Andrew Blunden bagging braces for Fleet. Tennis H eased past Cody B 6-4 with Charles Burton winning all three for Tennis. Graham Rudd supported with a duo which was matched by Cody’s David Thomas. Tennis G overcame Crawley Ridge B 7-3 with Tennis’ Kim Phillips winning all three and team mate Alan Richards winning a couple in support. Corin Moore won twice for Crawley Ridge.

In the Fourth Division Ash F squeezed past Ash G 6-4 thanks to a Graham Thomas maximum and a double from Brian Lunn. Bob Murrell won a couple for the G team. Braybrooke B beat Frimley F with Sandra Jackson leading the way with a trio. Team mates Kenny Duarte and Malcolm Codd each won twice with both losing to Frimley’s Charles Rhodes. Crawley Ridge D chalked up another impressive win, 8-2, against Tennis K. Eric Wong secured a full house with David Marchant and Yeuk Wan supporting with pairs. Michael Wolfe won the Tennis points. Tennis J whitewashed Cody D with the very experienced trio of Paul Jarvis, John Page and Ian Brown.

In the First Division Central B maintained their winning start to the season with a 7-3 victory over Tennis B. Andy Appleby was unbeaten for Central with Martin Townshend supporting with a duo. Eliot Tilley won twice for Tennis. Ash A and Ash B shared the points with Dave Halfpenny the star of the show with a maximum for the A team. Daniel Koenigsberger and Paul Rumble each won twice for the B outfit.
