Tennis G, in the Third Division, grabbed their first victory of the campaign when they eased past Cody E, 6-4. In a match where no player lost or won all their matches. There were doubles for Charles Burton and Graham Rudd from Tennis and John Sheehy for Cody. Frimley D, in the form of Anthony Connelly and Gary Nicholson despite having just two players, thrashed Ash E 7-3. Crawley Ridge A beat Fleet B with the Crawley Ridge pair of Phil Garrett and Ken Thompson both bagging braces as did Rob Brook and Andrew Blunden for Fleet. Tennis F proved far too strong for Ash D winning 9-1. Peter Killick and Graham McCulley both secured full houses with Paul Jarvis supporting with a pair.

Ash B, in the First Division, picked up their first success of the season with a 7-3 win over Tennis C. Paul Rumble was unbeaten for Ash with team-mates James Wyncoll and Ben Fereday each winning twice. Ash A just got the better of Tennis D, 6-4. The star performer of the evening was Tennis’ Michael Kwan with a maximum. All the Ash players, Nick Mills, Peter Fisk and Dave Halfpenny won twice.

Fleet A, in the Second Division, is making a determined promotion push with a whitewash against Cody B their latest victory. David Joyce, Lawrence Dack and Fallon Thompson were the winning trio. Tennis E was just good enough to overcome Braybrooke A 6-4. George Carder recorded a maximum for Tennis with Pu Zhang supporting with a duo. Robert Hawes won a couple for Braybrooke. Bentley B eased past Cody A 6-4. Robin Street and Paul Farrant both bagged braces for Bentley with this being matched by Keith Russell and Peter Anthony for Cody.

In the Fourth Division Crawley Ridge B maintained their promotion push with a 7-3 victory over Ash J. Richard Hornby was unbeaten for the Camberley outfit with Mark Stephenson winning a couple in support. Spike Hagan won a couple for Ash. Ash F beat Cody F 6-4 with the help of a maximum from Sheila Pretty. Colleague Janet Guess won twice as did Cody’s Norrie Short. Tennis H beat a two-man Ash G team 6-4. Bob Murrell was unbeaten for Ash. Tennis J and Braybrooke B shared the spoils with Braybrooke’s Mick Rumbold undefeated. Tom Ette and Mehrdad Abutalebi both won twice for Tennis. Fleet C and Frimley E also shared the points with Frimley’s Paul Phelan the maximum recording star of the evening. Alan Yeung and John Allan each won twice for Fleet.
