There were some tight results in the Third Division with Cody C recording two 6-4 victories, against Tennis G and Fleet B. John Harvey won five out of six with Dave Thomas winning four times. Charles Burton won a couple for Tennis G as did James Maxwell for Fleet. Ash D and Cody E shared the points with Cody’s John Sheehy unbeaten and Hugh McKee and Les Knight each winning twice for Ash.

Fleet C have moved to the top of the table in the Fourth Division after an 8-2 victory over Ash J. Andrew Hook recorded a trio for Fleet with John Allan and Roy Chittenden supporting with braces but both lost to Ash’s Bob Powney. Tennis H remain unbeaten after easing past Braybrooke B 6-4. Martin Evans notched a maximum for Tennis with Mick Rumbold and Kenny Duarte each winning a couple for Braybrooke. Ash G maintained their 100% record with an emphatic 9-1 success over Cody F. Bob Murrell and Chris Payne each won all their matches and Ray Mears won twice. Crawley Ridge B  also have a perfect record after a 7-3 success against an Ash F side boasting just two players. David Marchant won both his matches for Crawley Ridge and Sheila Pretty won twice for Ash. Ash H beat Frimley E 8-2 with both Ben Carr and Darren Milstead undefeated.

In the First Division Ash A opened their campaign with 7-3 success over two-man Frimley A. Nick Mills was unbeaten for Ash with Nigel Oh winning twice for Frimley. Tennis A continued their excellent start to the season with a whitewash of Tennis D. Eliot Tilley, Paul Myers and Rod Kay being the victorious trio. Earlier Tennis D had shared the points with Ash B. Simon Turner won all his three for Tennis the Ash pair of Paul Rumble and Chris Dury each won twice. Central A whitewashed Tennis C thanks to Paul Baker, Phil Snelson and Ramesh Bhalla.

Ash C, in the Second Division, maintained their 100% record with a 9-1 victory over Braybrooke A. Nigel Tustin and Frank Winnard each won three times with team-mate Karim Lawji supporting with a pair. Frimley C beat Bentley B 6-4 with all the Frimley players, Peter Farrelly, Andy Griffiths and John Eade each winning twice. Fleet A demolished Frimley B 10-0 with Lawrence Dack, David Joyce and Fallon Thompson seeming to be a good tip for promotion this season.
