Bentley A have moved to the top of the First Division after two 9-1 victories against Central A and Ash A. Andy Mudie was undefeated in the two matches with both Steve French and Micky Lang winning five out of six. Central B will do their best to keep in touch and they whitewashed Frimley A. Martin Townshend, Robin Pretty and Andy Appleby bagged the points. Tennis B dented the title prospects of their A team with a 7-3 success. Paul Myers won all his matches for the B team with George Earle bagging a brace as did the A team’s Eliot Tilley. Tennis C plunged Ash B into deep relegation trouble with an 8-2 mauling. Graham Diplock secured a maximum with team-mates Shaun Newbold and Paul Shakespeare each winning twice for Tennis.

Tennis D have edged to the top of the Second Division overcoming fellow promotion rivals Cody B 6-4. Michael Kwan was undefeated for Tennis with Duncan Sibbick and Paul Mission each winning twice for Cody. Fleet A whitewashed Tennis E. The win for John Upham, David Joyce and Lawrence Dack confuses the picture even more as did Broadmoor A’s defeat of Ash C 7-3. Keith Jones won all three for Broadmoor with team-mates Tony Gabriel and Pu Zhang each winning a couple. Broadmoor B has recorded two results both 6-4 victories over Bentley B and Tennis E. Robert Hawes won five out of six whilst Mark Armstrong contributed four wins. In the Bentley match Robin Street won a couple for Bentley whilst Peter Killick won a couple for Tennis E.

Frimley D continued their improvement in the Third Division when a two-man team beat Cody C 6-4. Anthony Connelly recorded a trio whilst Tony Harrison won twice for Frimley. Frimley C continue their domination of the division with a whitewash of Ash D. John Eade, Peter Farrelly and Bob Walker won the points for the champions elect. Crawley Ridge A and a two-man Cody D outfit shared the points with Cody’s Fan Lei unbeaten.

Cody E, in the Fourth Division, dented Tennis J’s outside hopes of finishing in the top two inflicting an 8-2 defeat. Alan Richards notched a trio whilst colleagues Kim Phillips and Nigel Roberts each won a couple but both lost to Tennis’ Charles Burton. Cody F beat Tennis H 7-3 with John Sheehy and Phil Russell both unbeaten for Cody. Broadmoor C also won 7-3, this against Ash G. Gabriel Ailiaoe was again unbeaten for Broadmoor with team-mate Anthony McDowell winning a couple. Crawley Ridge B kept their promotion push on track with an 8-2 victory over Ash H. Both Peter Greenwood-Sleep and Richard Pape won all three. Frimley E whitewashed Ash J. Stephen Bridle, James Maxwell and Steve Chapman won the points for Frimley.
