Tennis F, in the Third Division, still have a 100% record after a convincing 8-2 victory over Cody D with Darren Brown and Martin Evans undefeated and Peter Killick contributing a duo. Cody C also boast a perfect record with the latest victory being 7-3 against Ash F. Stuart Stone won all his three with Jock Docherty bagging a brace which was matched by Ash’s sandy Simpson. Frimley C have also started exceptionally well and trounced Crawley Ridge A 9-1. Pete Good and Derek Seager each won thrice with John Eade supporting with a pair. Tennis G eased past Ash D 6-4. Andrew Blunden won all three for Tennis with Ron Wale chipping in with a couple. Terry French won twice for Ash.
Cody E, in the Fourth Division, notched another win in their attempt to get back up to the division above. Their latest win was 7-3 against Frimley E. Kim Phillips and Alan Richards were both unbeaten for Cody. Ash K opened their campaign with a 7-3 victory over Cody F. Stuart Wickham and Dave Brown both notched up trios. Broadmoor C showed they will be a force in the division after a 9-1 victory over Ash J. Sandra Jackson and Kenny Duarte each grabbed hat-tricks whilst Malcolm Codd recorded two successes. Tennis H proved too strong for Ash G winning 6-4. John Page won three times for Tennis with Bob Murrell winning a couple for Ash. Tennis J beat Ash H 7-3 with Darren Milstead unbeaten for Ash. Charles Burton, Dave Lewis and Tushar Vaja each won twice for Tennis. Crawley Ridge B suffered their first defeat of the season when they lost to Fleet B, 7-3. Rob Brook was unbeaten for Fleet with Roy Chittenden supporting with a pair. This was matched by Crawley Ridge’s Peter Greenwood-Sleep.
In the First Division Central B moved to the top of the table with a 7-3 win over Tennis B. Andy Appleby, Robin Pretty and Dave Phelps each won twice for Central with Paul Myers matching this for Tennis. Ash A and Tennis C shared the spoils with Ash’s Dave Halfpenny unbeaten and the Tennis pair of Graham Diplock and Paul Shakespeare each winning twice. Bentley A are starting to get going after a 9-1 thrashing of Frimley A. Micky Lang and Richard Seymour both won all three with Steve French winning a couple. Tennis A overcame Ash B 7-3 with Eliot Tilley winning all three and Paul Myers bagging a brace.
Ash C are the early leaders in the Second division helped by an 8-2 victory at Tennis E. Alan Gess was unbeaten with Nigel Tustin and Chris Carter each winning twice but both losing to George Carder. Frimley B and Cody B shared the points with Frimley’s Hudson Foley notching a full house. Dario Cereda won twice for Cody. Broadmoor B picked up their first win with a 6-4 success over Tennis D. Robert Hawes won three times for Broadmoor with Mark Armstrong chipping in with a duo. Peter Killick won twice for Tennis. Bentley B proved far too strong for Fleet B winning 8-2. Robin Street managed a full house with both Phil Hales and Eric North twice successful but both lost to Fleet’s Dave Joyce.
